Trauma therapy in Seattle and throughout Washington & Oregon
WEEKLY THERAPY

Telehealth
Use your computer or phone for therapy while cozy on your own couch, on your lunch break, or wherever is most convenient.* I use Simple Practice, a secure, HIPAA-compliant video system for online sessions.
*Note: Per state regulations, you must be located in Washington State or Oregon at time of session.
Walk-and-Talk Therapy
Sitting at the computer not for you? I offer walk-and-talk therapy sessions throughout the greater Seattle area. We can sit on the beach, go for a walk (EMDR works great while walking!), or find a good bench. Seward Park, Golden Gardens, the Arboretum...the outdoors is our office and nature is our co-therapist.
*We can try to schedule for the weather, but this is the PNW, and these sessions run rain or shine (unless the weather is dangerous, such as heavy wind or hail).

Frequently Asked Questions
I offer weekly therapy for adults and teens (13+) across Washington and Oregon, with sessions available in English or Spanish, either online or in walk-and-talk sessions outdoors in South Seattle. While I have foundational training in traditional cognitive “talk therapy” models, my true passion is in experiential, body-informed therapies that go beyond coping and create deeper and longer-lasting change. Each session will be tailored to you, drawing from EMDR, IFS, Brainspotting, and somatic therapies. You can expect a blend of warmth and honesty, and a space where all parts of you are welcome. Whether we’re addressing challenges stemming from your family of origin, anxiety, religious harm, or immigration trauma, we’ll work at a pace that feels safe and empowering. Therapy isn’t about fixing you; it’s about helping you come home to yourself.
There are situations in which weekly therapy isn’t the right pace, or it’s simply not enough. I offer trauma-focused therapy intensives for individuals who want to go deeper in a condensed timeframe. Intensives may be helpful if you’re feeling stuck, processing a specific event, preparing for a major life transition, or if traditional weekly sessions aren’t accessible due to your schedule or location.
Drawing from EMDR, IFS, Brainspotting, and somatic approaches, intensives are custom-designed to meet your needs. These sessions are paced with great care and include thorough preparation and follow-up. Intensives are available online or in-person in South Seattle, with the option of incorporating nature-based elements.
I offer psychological evaluations for immigration cases, including asylum, VAWA, hardship waivers, and U-visas. These evaluations are trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and rooted in respect for your lived experience. My goal is to provide supportive space where your story can be documented with care and clinical clarity. I have over 12 years of experience working with individuals navigating immigration systems and offer evaluations in both English and Spanish. Translation services are available for other languages as needed.
If you're an immigration attorney seeking a trusted clinician to support your clients through this process, please reach out. I welcome collaboration and aim to make the process as smooth and timely as possible.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee, but do not provide individual substance use disorder treatment at this time.

No, I do not. All of my sessions are offered via telehealth or in person in parks throughout the Seattle area.
It can be—but it's true that it is not as private as online therapy. We will do our best to stay out of earshot of others, and to most, we'll just look like two friends chatting. If we run into someone you know, I will follow your lead—you can introduce me as your friend, colleague, sister's best friend's aunt...whatever you are most comfortable with so we can get back to our session.
My fees are $180 per 55-minute session and $275 for initial 90-minute intake session.
I do not work directly with insurance companies, but I am able to provide you with a "super bill" upon request, which includes all information needed for insurance reimbursement IF your plan offers this. Please check with your insurance policy about your out-of-network mental health benefits if you plan to use this.
There are several reasons I have chosen to not work directly with insurance:
• Flexibility - we can meet as long and often as we determine is necessary for your treatment without restrictions imposed by insurance companies.
• Avoid interruptions - we are not at risk of insurance companies cutting off benefits, causing abrupt end of treatment.
• Increased confidentiality - I don't need to share your diagnosis or treatment notes with your insurance company.
• Focus on your therapy - I can spend our time focusing on you and your treatment instead of all the paperwork and billing requirements insurance companies require.
Congratulations on taking a step toward healing! Here are the steps toward working together:
1. First, we'll have a (free) 20 minute consultation call (reach out to schedule below). This allows us to see if we're a good fit to work together before we jump into sessions.
2. If we decide to work together, we'll schedule an intake session. This 90-minute session is a chance for hear more in depth what you're looking to work on and to share more about your history and who you are. I'll send you some paperwork beforehand to make our time as efficient as we can. We'll also talk about types of therapy we can do in this session.
3. At the end of the intake session, we'll schedule our weekly 55-minute sessions.
This free 20-minute call gives us a chance to see if we're a good fit to work together. It's not therapy, and I won't ask you to go to into the nitty gritty of what you're going through. It is a chance for you to share why you're seeking therapy at this time and hear about the type of work I do, for me to see if what you're dealing with is something I can help address, and for us to ask any questions we might have before starting therapy together. If we both agree to move forward, we can schedule our first session. If not, I can help you find someone who can better meet your needs.
